Christmas Returns
For a limited time, Mermade Hair is offering 60-day returns for Christmas and Holiday purchases. The 60-day return period begins from the date the order was delivered. Exclusions for Hair Gem Stampers, Hair Towels, Heatless Curls Kits or haircare products are still applicable.
Mermade Hair does not accept returns or refunds for used or opened Hair Gem Stampers, Hair Towels, Heatless Curls Kits or Mermade Haircare products, however if the product is faulty, does not work or does not appear as it should, then a refund or replacement will occur only if the product was purchased from our website.
For hot tools and accessories, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for products purchased from our website only. All we ask is that you try our products and if you are not completely happy, simply return the items within 30-days from the date of delivery and we'll refund you. The product & packaging must be in new condition. If a product is missing, box is damaged or not in restockable condition we cannot provide a refund. Unfortunately we cannot process exchanges.
Refunds can only be issued to the method that was used to pay for the order.
All you have to do is arrange for the products to be shipped back (at your cost) and you'll receive your refund. We do not cover or refund shipping costs.

Please allows 3-10 days for your returned funds to be available in your bank account. Refunds will only be processed once your return is inspected.

It is very important to always use a heat protectant on your hair prior to styling. On freshly died hair, heat can change or alter the tone of the colour. It is very important to test heat on a small section of your hair before using Mermade on your entire head. We also suggest using the lowest heat setting to start.
Mermade Hair tools are suitable for hair of any thickness, however, they will not work on very curly hair. We suggest blow-drying your hair or brushing it straight before clamping. We have tutorials for short and long hair on our social media and throughout our website. Hair should be at ear length to use our 32mm and 25mm waver.

Always use a Heat Protectant spray before styling. However, our products are made so that they are do protect your hair as much as possible. Mermade uses the highest quality ceramic to avoid unecessary damage to locks. Don't be fooled by knockoffs. Mermade is the trusted brand used by celebrities, stylists & world leading hairdressers.
This can be because you are turning your waver heat up too high. When you use a higher heat (e.g. 210 °C) on the hair to wave or curl it, the cuticle can slam shut and flatten so much that it won’t hold a bend. A super-flat cuticle works well when you want shiny, sleek strands, but not so much when you want texture. Using a lower temperature (e.g. 180°C) will create a longer-lasting bend. In saying that, if your wave or curl drops out within a minute or two of waving/curling your hair, you probably need to dial up the heat.
The size has less to do with your hair length, and more to do with what vibe you're going for. The 32mm waver creates a very large luxe wave, whereas the 25mm waver creates a much smaller wave and is a much lighter tool. Both create a crimp-free look due to the unique design of our triple barrel waver compared to others on the market.
